It is better that the woman is not in the period in perioperative period. Labioplasty (inner labia aesthetics) can also be combined with vaginoplasty. Postoperative Period

Patient can engage in work activities after the second day. Sexual abstinence is recommended depending on the type of surgery performed. Patients can take a bath 1 day after the procedure. Although the surgery does not cause a severe pain, patients may experience pain, swelling and mild spotting for several days. Genital aesthetic surgery is not a contraindication for delivery. However, in case of spontaneous vaginal delivery, vagina will re-enlarge.

This type of surgeries ensure positive advancements in sexual life of patients and their partners, but there are many other factors that mediate sexual drive and desire in human. Sexual aesthetic surgeries, such as vaginal tightening, intend boosting sexual pleasure rather than regulating sexual drive.
